Facebook FBML Tabs and Stylesheets

If you are venturing into the world of creating your own Static FBML Tabs… make sure you stay current on what works and what doesn’t. Thanks again to our good friend Tim Ware at Hyperarts for catching the recent change in how Internet Explorer renders Static FBML inline CSS… it doesn’t anymore. You now have to use external stylesheets to get that great look you’ve always wanted on your tabs.

Almost every week you see a major news story that reminds you how much you don’t know about Social Media. As a small business owner, you know that you need to be interacting with your customers on Facebook, Twitter and other places on the Web.

But the world of social media is constantly changing, and with change comes new opportunities… and new dangers.

Facebook changed their default publication and privacy settings a few weeks ago, and with the change came a better opportunity for you as a small business owner to “get found” on the web. And with that same change came an unintended consequence…. stuff you thought might be private no longer was.

Make sure that you have asked me about your privacy settings to make sure that this never happens to you.
